You’ve made an investment in your irrigation system, but now cold weather is coming. It’s time to protect that investment!
In Central Oregon we typically get a long cold winter, with fluctuating day/night temperatures which can be hard on irrigation pipes. Any water left in your irrigation system will expand during freezing temperatures, potentially rupturing and causing damage to your irrigation pipes, fittings, valves, sprinkler heads, pumps, and other system components.
The best way to protect your investment is to have our professional irrigation technician perform your sprinkler blowout! You don’t have to be home at the time of service, and we will leave you a postcard confirming your irrigation system has been winterized and instructions for insulating your irrigation box for winter.
How much does it cost? $80 for the first 4 zones, and $5 for each additional zone.
If you see a better price elsewhere, let us know and we will try to match it!
When do you blow out sprinklers? We start winterizing sprinkler systems in October and wrap up mid-November.
When will we be in your area? We group addresses by area for maximum efficiency for all our customers. We would be happy to give you an estimate of when we will be in your area.
How does the service work? We shut off your irrigation water supply and tie in a low pressure (40psi) diesel air compressor. Then we run through your irrigation zones to thoroughly expel the water from your irrigation system. Once completed, your irrigation water is to remain off until spring. We highly recommend YOU put insulation or a pillow in a garbage bag and stuff it down in the main box to also keep freezing air out… As a final step. Then you are all set!
